Welcome to the center for Clinical and Translational Science Research (CATS). Our facility boasts a wide range of amenities and resources that are all at your disposal in order to facilitate the progress of your particular study.
Some of the features that we offer include:

Each private examination room offers a variety of resources based on the need of the study and can include:
Blood pressure monitors (electronic or analogue), infusion chair, examination bed, orthoscopes, oxygen, glucometer, EKG machine, ect...

Our infusion suite boasts 7 infusion chairs with easy access to several intravenous pumps and ceiling mounted pump polls.
The suite also houses 2 sample refrigerators, a -80 Revco Freezer, ice maker, and a Beckman Coulter Centrifuge (one of two available).
If you're planning on being here for long and would like to continue your work while a study is progressing there are two Dell Optiplex PC's that are set up and available that have internet access as well as printing capabilities.
If your patients will be here for an extended period of time and would like some entertainment, we also have portable personal DVD players and wireless headsets that they are welcome to use.

One of the most unique areas of our facility is our pediatric room. In an effort to ease nervous youths who may be part of a study, we can offer them our dinosaur themed examination room. This room also has an attached observation room with a one-way mirror.

Should you have a need for private meetings with your patients or large scale video conferencing we have the resources to meet your needs. Our Informal Consenting room is always available for confidential needs, and our Clinical Scholars room offers access to conference calling, video conferencing, and general conference needs.
The Clinical Scholars room also offers access to 3 Hewlett Packard docking stations that are accompanied by 21in LCD widescreen monitors for your research needs.
In the near future we will be offering significant resources for sleep studies.
